"If you like your comedy
light, frothy and supremely daft, these bright-eyed
boys are experts" - Metro, 9-Aug-07
Tom Parry
Tom was born in 1980 and first started performing
in his sunday school with Ben. He is a stand up
comedian, playwright and occasional actor, who
has been a laughing horse new act semi-finalist
and had a play nominated for best production at
the Brighton Fringe in 2005.
Matthew
Crosby
My name is Matthew Crosby. I am a comedian.
I come from Bromley, South East London. On my
own I have supported Russell Howard (one date)
and Josie Long (several dates) on their recent
national tours, playing in large venues and theatres.
This year I appeared for the second time at the
Latitude Festival as part of Robin Ince's Book
Club. I also took part in 2006's Book Club tour
including a show at the Bloomsbury Theatre, London.
I am a regular compere and am resident MC at clubs
in Canterbury, Whitstable and New Cross. I did
a bunch of competitions in 2004/2005 but ran out
of talent in the early rounds.
I'm a member of the sketch team Pappy's Fun Club.
We were nominated for the Chortle Best Newcomer
Award, appeared on BBC Radio 2's Weekender and
Radio 4's 28 Acts in 28 Minutes. This year in
Edinburgh we were nominated for the If.Comedy
Award (formerly the Perrier) for Best Show.
"Compact, controlling" -The Times
"Intriguingly...Matthew Crosby from Bromley
is also a comedian" - What's On in Kent Magazine.

Ben Clark
Until recently, Ben worked as both Actor and
Director in a theatre company co-founded and operated
with Tom. He now works full-time for Pappy's Fun
Club, with a bit of teaching and temping to keep
things varied.
Ben met the rest of the Pappy's Fun Club team
as a result of a comedy night he organised in
Wolverhampton. He has been a regular member of
the Fun Club since the first show in 2004.
Brendan
Dodds
Brendan has written and directed a number of
comedy shows including Murder Mysteries and sketch
revues. He has acted in several theatrical productions,
but has always returned to stand up and sketch
comedy. In 2004 the lure of live comedy culminated
in co-founding what would become Pappy's Fun Club.
In the past we've worked with the excellent Sam
Pay, Dave Puckridge, Steve Purcell and Paul Greenhalgh.
They're all great.
